Q: Does the house I rented provide linens?
A: Most houses do not provide linens. If your rental house DOES provide linens, it will be stated on page 2 of your lease, under #18 Provisions. This does include linens and towels.
Q: Does the house have pillows and blankets?
A: Yes- all rentals provide pillows and blankets.
Q: Is the kitchen stocked?
A: Most of the kitchens have the basic utensils and appliances that are needed. I there is something you can’t live without, we recommend to bring it with you!
Q: Where do I go to check-in?
A: Come to our office to check in; we will give you the key and directions to the house. If you feel you may be late or arrive when our office is closed, we will leave your key and information in a check in packet on our office door. YOUR CHECK-IN TIME IS ON THE FRONT OF YOUR LEASE. (NO CHECK-INS BEFORE 2:00 P.M. or Check-In time on lease) *THIS INCLUDES SUNDAY CHECK-INS*
Q: What time is check in time?
A: Your check in time is noted on your lease. Also, it is our policy that we cannot under any circumstances give you the key any earlier than the said check in time. This is also to ensure that the cleaners have time to do their jobs. (NO CHECK-INS BEFORE 2:00 P.M.)
Q: What if I arrive after office hours?
A: We will leave your check-in packet with everything you will need for your rental on the front door of the office for you.
Q: What do I do to check out?
A: At arrival you will be given a departure checklist that you are responsible to do before leaving your property. It is important to be out by your check out time for the cleaners to have their amount of time to work before the next tenants arrives. The key to your home needs to be returned to our office by check out time shown on your lease. If you wish to get a head start early in the morning, our door has a mail slot in it for your convenience to just put the key in.
Q: Where do I get my Beach Sticker?
A: There will be a Beach Sticker Application in your check-in packet. You will need to fill the application out and bring it to the Beach Sticker Office with your car registration. The cost is $50.00 per car, per week. (Directions to Beach Sticker Office will be in your packet)
Q: What if I need assistance when you are closed?
A: When our office is closed, you may still call and leave voice mails. The messages are checked regularly and someone will get back to you soon!
Q: If I paid a Security Deposit when can I expect my security deposit to be returned?
A: We hold the security for approximately 2 weeks after your check out to give the owners/caretakers time to notice problems with cleanliness or damages and report it to us. If for any reason your deposit needs to be held you will be notified.
Q: What is a Damage Waiver Fee?
A: The Damage Waiver Fee is a nonrefundable fee that relieves Tenants of the cost of all unintentional and incident damage to the rental property and its contents, not to exceed the amount of coverage purchased. The Damage Waiver Fee does NOT cover intentional damage, theft, excessive cleaning, extra phone, TV or internet charges and unintentional and incidental damage exceeding the amount of coverage purchased or any damage or flea infestation caused by a pet. (Please read Damage Waiver Form thoroughly.)
Q: Where do I get gas for a propane grill tank?
A: Please keep in mind that it is the tenant’s responsibility to fill the tank as needed. It does state this in your lease. Here are a few suggestions as to where to fill the tank:

Q: Why do the payments need to be a certified check/money order?
A: This is an office policy agreed upon by the Owner and this office in order to expedite and secure your rental the best way possible. Personal Checks hold up the process in getting your lease secured!
Q: When do I pay the balance on my rental?
A: If you book the lease within 60 days of your arrival date it is all due in full. If not, the payment schedule is outlined on your lease. Please mark it on your calendar so it gets to us on time. Remember: Certified or Bank Check or Money Order!
Q: How do I get to your office?
A: Directions to our office at 12 Truro Center Road:
Using the Sagamore Bridge, follow Route 6 East to Truro. (About 1 hour without traffic) Take the Truro Center, Pamet Road Exit (no number). Following the signs to Truro Center, bear right under the Route 6 Bridge. Our building is straight ahead.
